Rifle/Pistol, Trap Range Rules
Friends of NRA grant money helped to build this range. Please respect it, shoot safely and enjoy.
Members Family: Can shoot for free until age 12 then they must, become a Junior member or pay the $10.00 guest fee. Spouse's must, become members also to shoot or they will be considered guest and pay the $10.00 guest fee. Only Exception is the .22 league or the Turkey shoots.
Range is closed from 10:00am till 2:00pm On Sundays For shot gun range being used. Range opens at 2:00pm till dusk
Range Hours: 10 a.m. to Sunset daily Except Sundays.
Winter hunting season: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. NO exceptions.
Turkey season (May): 10 a.m. to dusk.
No hunting behind the ranges between 10 a.m. and 2:00pm.
Range is closed during scheduled ATA Trap Events
Range is closed during any scheduled private event. Events will be announced at club meetings, the newsletter, this web site, and posted signage in and around the range house.
Members and Guests must sign in when using the Range book located in the brown cabinet on the side wall of range house near brass depository.
Eye and Ear protection are required at all times while shooting or standing in Range house while others are shooting.
Do not mix alcohol or drugs with shooting or handling firearms.
No handling of firearms when someone is down range.
All shooting must be done from benches in range house not outside range house.
Keep the firearm action open and unloaded until ready to use
Always keep loaded firearms pointed down range at all times
Be sure of your target and beyond, you are responsible for your own actions.
Shoot only at authorized targets, i.e. paper targets / metal slingers only. Do Not use Range Distance signs as targets or electric do not use barrels as targets.
No ground targets allowed i.e. cans, glass bottles, metal drums, rocks.
Keep range and range house clean.
Pick up brass, shells, etc.
Dispose of used targets in garbage bin in front of club house.
Put target holders / frames away in back range house closet.
Take out what you brought in
Guest Policy.
Guest must be accompanied and supervised by an adult member at all times.
Guest must pay a $ 10.00 range use fee
Member is required to collect range use fee and remit fee to a Range Officer or Board Member or deposited it in strong box located in range house.
Club members have priority over guests for range use.
Klein's Lake
Klein's Lake is a beautiful 10 acre body of water owned by the club. Trout and Bass are released into the lake regularly for members fishing enjoyment.

You MUST sign in before fishing.
Fishing is strictly for club members and Their immediate Family only. Positively no guests.
Only club members are allowed to keep fish.
Trout limit:
Daily: Four (4) per member.
If you catch your 4 trout, you’re done fishing for the day.
You are not allowed to continue catching and releasing trout.
Catch and Release methods, with trout can cause high mortality rates of the fish released.Catch and release will only be allowed if you are Fly Fishing and are using a Barbless Hook.
Weekly: Twelve (12) per member
New Rule:
You are now allowed to keep one (1) Bass per Week.
Members must display their badges at all times.
Each catch must be recorded daily in the log book.
Boats that are chained down are Privately Owned and not for general use.
Boat availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
Boats, oars, and life jackets cost money so please do not abuse them. Report any damaged items to the President of the Club.
Oars / life jackets are available and located in Club House. Please return items to the club house when you’re done using them.
You can bring your own boat/canoe to use on the lake.
Everyone using a boat on this lake MUST have a personal flotation device with them.
No Gas Motors allowed on the lake. Electric Motors are allowed.
Keep the boats and property clean. If you brought it in, you take it out. That includes discarded fishing line, bait containers, coffee cups, etc.
