Archery Range Rules
Bird Preserve Rules
1.
Preserve Hours 9am to Sunset.
·
Preserve closed during big
game rifle season.
·
Must have owner’s permission
for all other hunting seasons.
2.
Preserve use is for club
members only.
3.
All members must sign in and
record date and time before hunting.
4.
Members must display their
badges at all times.
5.
All firearms must remain
unloaded until safely in the field.
6.
All Hunters must wear Hunter
safety orange and eye protection.
7.
No Hunting in standing corn.
8.
No Hunting in Christmas tree
farm.
9.
No Hunting or discharging
firearm within 500 feet of dwelling.
10.
All dogs must remain in control at all
times.

Aggressive or out of control
dogs will be asked to leave.
11.
Help keep preserve clean.
·
Pickup empty shot shell
hulls.
·
Remove garbage, if you
brought it in, take it out.
12.
All members must sign out and record take and time.
·
Carcass must be recorded
within DEC regulations.
13.
No parking in front of Barnes.
14.
Preserve chair will be responsible for scheduling; recording and turning in all
members’ bird preserve work hours.
Rifle/Pistol, Trap Range
Rules
Bethlehem Rod and Gun Club features a shotgun trap range, a 100 yard high power
rifle/shotgun, and a low caliber rifle and pistol range.
Friends of NRA grant money helped to build this range. Please
respect it, shoot safely and enjoy.
Members Family:
Can shoot for free until age 12 then they must, become a Junior member or pay
the $10.00 guest fee. Spouse's must, become members also to shoot or they
will be considered guest and pay the $10.00 guest fee. Only Exception is the .22
league or the Turkey shoots.
No hunting behind the
ranges between 10 a.m. and 2:00pm.
No handling of firearms
when someone is down range.
Keep range and range house
clean.
Guest Policy.

You MUST sign in
before fishing.
·
Fishing is
strictly for club members and Their immediate Family only. Positively no guests.
·
Only club
members are allowed to keep fish.
·
Trout limit:
o
Daily: Four (4)
per member.
If you catch your 4 trout, you’re done fishing for the day.
You are not allowed to continue catching and releasing trout.
Catch and
Release methods, with trout can cause high mortality rates of the fish
released.
o
Catch and
release will only be allowed if you are Fly Fishing and are using a Barbless
Hook.
o
Weekly: Twelve
(12) per member
New Rule:
o
You are
now allowed to keep one (1) Bass per Week.

Members must
display their badges at all times.

Each catch must
be recorded daily in the log book.
·
Boats that are
chained down are Privately Owned and not for general use.
·
Boat
availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
·
Boats, oars, and
life jackets cost money so please do not abuse them. Report any damaged items to
the President of the Club.
·
Oars / life
jackets are available and located in Club House. Please return items to the club
house when you’re done using them.
·
You can bring
your own boat/canoe to use on the lake.
·
Everyone using a
boat on this lake MUST have a personal flotation device with them.
·
No Gas Motors
allowed on the lake. Electric Motors are allowed.
·
Keep the boats
and property clean. If you brought it in, you take it out. That includes
discarded fishing line, bait containers, coffee cups, etc.
